Zero Gained Live
for NIMB, compuer , visuals and laser

Zero Gained Zero Gained is an immersive journey through the wreckage of a world unraveling. This experimental work harnesses the unpredictable energy of the No-Input Mixing Board, fused with live computer processing, to conjure a stark sonic landscape suspended between ruin and reflection. In performance, Krzysztof Wołek shapes unstable feedback, noise, and electronic distortion into fragile structures, while live visuals by Artur Lis create a synchronized, narrative- driven environment.

Concert Teaser

The concert version of Zero Gained unfolds as a 50-minute audiovisual performance built from thirteen tightly constructed pieces, each ranging from 2:30 to 5 minutes. Every piece is paired with a unique set of live-generated visuals by Artur Lis, whose imagery expands on the album?s artwork. The visual narrative draws on the dystopian imagination of 1980s cinema - but recontextualized for the 21st century through the lens of our uncertain struggle to grasp the future of Artificial Intelligence. The performance presents a world in which AI attempts, and repeatedly fails, to approximate humanity: androids longing for children, machines malfunctioning or collapsing, and systems drifting into self-destruction. These scenes alternate with algorithmic visual structures and laser-based mappings, creating a constantly shifting dialogue between analogue sonic instability and digital imagery.
